Since the liberation of Da Nang in 1975 to 1984, Han and Con markets were the two major trading centres of the city.  Now the commercial system of Da Nang comprises 6 general trading centres, 35 specialised and non-specialised supermarkets, 126 large-scale business units, 86 traditonal markets plus 27,000 specialised shops.
